Biography
Mehdi Abbasian was a 42-year-old man who was killed during protests in Nasimshahr (also known as Akbar Abad) in Tehran Province. He died after being targeted by direct fire from Islamic Republic security forces on January 8, 2026. Memorial images and banners documented his death in the city's Haft-e Tir Square.
مهدی عباسیان، ۴۲ ساله، در جریان اعتراضات در نسیمشهر (اکبرآباد) استان تهران جان باخت. او در ۱۸ دی ۱۴۰۴ بر اثر شلیک مستقیم مأموران جمهوری اسلامی کشته شد. تصاویر پیکر بیجان و بنرهای یادبود او در میدان هفتتیر نسیمشهر به ثبت رسیده است.
